At the time of build this was the largest Limousine Tender in the World. A Sam Sorgiovanni / Tim Heywood design, it was one of 4 Vikal Tenders delivered to the superyacht Pelorus.
This 'deep vee' hull Limousine was capable of fast safe transits in less than ideal conditions.
With a sumptuous leather interior, reverse cycle air conditioning and a 240 volt Diesel generator, this Tender offers everything you might expect in a large Limousine.
CUSTOMIZATION DETAILS
The Pelorus tender garage was designed to be multi purpose so the proposed bulky Tender cradles presented a stowage challenge. Vikal suggested a hydraulic docking leg system (link) whereby the tender is equipped with 4 retractable hydraulic legs that act as cradles when the tender is stowed. On launching, the on board hydraulic system retracts the legs into the chines.
This Limousine was the first Limousine tender ever to be fitted with this system . We have done many since.
